It was an awesome day!
I knew I had a busy day so I got it started with a workout. I have been wondering lately if I have been letting myself off easy with my workouts, so I decided to redo a workout I did in February. The workout took me 28 minutes in February and only 24 minutes today and I used heavier weights. This definitely made me feel better.
I did: squats, dips, hip raises, upright rows, bent over rows, front raises, lateral raises, crunches, reverse crunches, pushups, pullovers, plank, mountain climbers, bicep curls, and plié squats.
I felt good to start the day with a workout:)
I had made plans for a coffee and walk with my friend Emily this morning. It was a lovely morning for it and a nice way to start the weekend.
From the walk, it was a quick transition to a bike ride with my friends Cori and Lyndsay for Lyndsay’s birthday. I have never been an awesome bike rider. In fact, I often feel anxious when I’m on a bike, especially when I see people ahead of me. However, it seems like the fifteenth time is the charm as I was way more relaxed on the bike and felt much more confident.
We rode over to Provincial Spirits which is a local distillery and also stopped in at North Paw Brewery before stopping for dinner at Earls. My favourite place was Provincial Spirits as it has interesting drinks beyond beer and cider.
It was an awesome day with friends and really revived me:)
Now though, I need to go to bed and rest up.
