For the past twelve plus years, this cross stitch project sat on a shelf in my spare room. This year I was determined to make progress and this SAL is definitely helping!

Here is where I was three weeks ago:.

Here is where I am now:

I haven’t made much progress this time as it has been exceptionally gray here. I am having a tough time working on this project when it isn’t nice and bright out. I really need to find a good light! If anyone has a good suggestion, I would love to hear any suggestions of good lamps!

Make sure you check out everyone else’s progress as there are some amazing projects in this SAL!

  1. It is such a pretty cross stitch. I can understand how difficult it could be to sew these fine stitches on grey days. Sorry I haven’t any solutions for a lamp.

    1. It is so pretty and I think that’s why I’m so mad at myself for making mistakes. I want it to look just as pretty when I finish it

  2. It’s been grey here too and the short hours of daylight make it difficult to find light at a time when we’re able to craft. The main thing is that your project is still growing. Roll on Springtime 🙂

  3. looks like progress to me ^^
I’ve got a lamp that has a bendy neck, so I can direct light exactly where I want it (just bought in normal furniture shop) with a daylight bulb.
