In 2002 I loved the work of Paula Vaughn and my grandma very kindly bought me the Paula Vaughn cross stitch book “A Quilt for All Seasons”. I immediately started on the January one. I’m not sure when exactly this was, but the project then languished on a shelf in my spare room for twelve years after I moved into my condo. Last year I heard about this SAL and decided it may help me actually get this project finished.
Here is where I was at the last update:

Here is where I am this time:

I was doing really well at doing a bit each day and managed to finish half the window. This fell off as the heat increased:(. I will continue to try and stitch regularly so I can finish the other half of the window by the next update.
Make sure you check out all the other amazing makers in this stitch along!
Avis, Claire, Gun, Carole, Constanze, Christina, Kathy, Margaret, Cindy, Heidi, Jackie, Sunny, Megan, Deborah, Renee, Carmela, Sharon, Daisy, Anne, AJ, Laura, Cathie, Linda, Helen
You are making some consistent progress now! Are you up to 1/4 or 1/2 done yet?
I’m over half done- on the second page and will hopefully continue to move along
Aj, that’s a good amount of work since Jan. 1. You have a busy 1ife. I 1ove the soft co1ors
I just saw where I was in January 2020 and realized I have made decent progress:)
Great progress, I hope the heat will be over soon. Here in Sweden it´s much colder now!
We finally got some rain today and it feels awesome!
it’s never easy to cross stitch much over the summer because of the heat. Be glad you made progress, and that things are heading in the right direction ^^
True! I’ll get back to it next week and hopefully will get the window finished for next update
Good idea to look further back in time. That’s when you see just how much progress you have made 🙂
Yes! I hadn’t thought to do that before but it definitely made me fee better
It’s coming along nicely 😀
Thank you
