I finished my January Quilt for All Seasons by Paula Vaughn on December 31st. Well, I finished the stitching. I am now working on the backstitching- a little each day. I know I could probably get it done in a day or two if I did nothing else, but I really don’t like doing backstitching! However, I do love what it does for the stitching so I will keep persevering on it.

Here is where I am:

There are mistakes galore, but I’m happy with how it turned out!

I have started a temperature tree and am doing some of the tree and a leaf a day.

I am actually on the lookout for a stitching project that could go in my kitchen. That will probably be my next project once I find it.

Make sure you check out everyone’s projects as there are some amazing ones!

  1. This is such a pretty finish. The backstitching is tedious, but it really does bring out the detail. You are so close to a happy dance with this one. Have fun with your temperature tree!

  2. You have done so much! It is a good idea to just do a little, regular bit of things you don’t enjoy. Looking forward to sharing your happy dance. Have a creative 2022.

  3. I just love your piece. Congratulations on the almost finish. It looks amazing. I love the quilt πŸ™‚ and it’s funny how you wouldn’t know there were mistakes – can’t spot a one
