These three weeks go faster every time!
Unfortunately I don’t have an FFO to show you as my mom is only coming this weekend and I need her moral support for turning my previous stitching into a bag. She doesn’t need to do anything- just be present🤣
I have already started my next project, well actually I’m about half way through it.

This is Real Comfort: Jane Austen Sampler by Modern Folk Embroidery.
I am not really a sampler type so I am modifying this to be just the cute houses and quote as that quote is seriously me!🤣
I am using the Silk app to stitch this and am really loving it for being able to make the pattern really big and being able to see my progress tally at the bottom. I’m a numbers girl so I find that highly motivating!
I keep hearing about pattern keeper and it sounds wonderful, but I don’t have an android device so I will need to enjoy this experience before it is back to paper and highlighter for me.
I also needed to include my recent knit for Kathy. I had been wanting a big black, soft cardigan forever and Kathy very kindly sent me some black mohair. As you can see it has been put to good use! I can’t wait for this to be dry so I can wear it in the cold weather we are getting this week.
Make sure you check out the other projects as there is a great variety of beautiful projects in this group!
Avis, Claire, Gun, Constanze, Christina, Kathy, Margaret, Cindy, Heidi, Jackie, Sunny, Megan, Deborah, Renee, Carmela, Sharon, Daisy, AJ, Cathie, Linda, Helen
Your new sampler is beautiful! I’ve thought about trying an app to keep track of stitching but I prefer to pin my chart to my fabric and mark off with a pen. I do cut my chart up into small sections so it doesn’t get in the way of the stitching. How does the chart get onto the app? Do you have to scan and make a pdf?
I think that if you buy a pdf chart you can just load it straight in, but otherwise yes you have to scan the chart. I haven’t really looked into it because I don’t have the right device for it:(
This looks like a great project! The silhouette is really cool, can’t wait to see what the quote is. I’m so glad you have knit up the mohair, looking forward to seeing it on you!
I’m hoping it will be a much faster project. My goal is to be done by March 19th.
The sweater is still very wet, but hopefully it will be dry by Wednesday and I can get better photos
Its’s looking great so far!
Thank you
well that’s a complete change from the last project ^^
Lol yes it is
Looks like a great new project!
I don’t know anything about the Silk app. It sounds interesting. I like your new project!
Thanks. It’s been fun todo sofar
Just love this! I looked up this Modern Folk Embroidery, its something I would really enjoy doing. Anxious to see this take shape.
I’m not a huge sampler fan, but I am a big Jane Austen fan so that’s what won me over:)
A wonderful project!
Thank you
