A Busy Vacation Day

It seemed quite busy but that may have been just because I was dead tired all day. This cold isn’t doing much other than making me tired and sneezy; it can go away any time now!

Exercise:

The first thing I did was to get out for my run this morning. I did the 6km I needed to for the Squad Runner mission, but it was definitely slow as I had to stop for sniffles.

I also got my 200 squats and 100 crunches done this evening. I needed something after dinner since tomorrow’s weigh in decides if I get to pick the run route or not!

Shopping:

I was heading to a furniture consignment store with my mom this morning when I realized I needed gas, so it was a change of direction out to Costco to get gas.

I stopped on the way back to buy some unmentionables:). I can’t remember when I last bought anything new so it was time to do so!

I spent more time looking at Soda Stream machines. I often enjoy a carbonated water, however, I don’t enjoy dealing with all the cans! My mom mentioned this machine to me the other day so we had a look today. There are four different kinds!! If anyone knows anything about these or can offer an opinion, please do so!

Organization:

The quest for organization continued today and I got my lounge wear sorted and organized and a lot given away and my spare room re-organized. Hopefully I’ll be able to keep all these organized spots this way!

Shopping Again:

I went to drop the lounge wear off at charity immediately before it made its way back into my wardrobe!! So easily done when two of the hoodies had sentimental value for me.

I took three garbage bags into charity and only came out with two items, so I consider that a win! Especially as one item was a new pair of pants for work as pants are my least favourite item to shop for!

Knitting:

I have finally picked up my sleeve again. I’m not loving how the stitches were added and may try a different way on the second sleeve, but I’m just not willing to frog this sleeve. I don’t think anyone but me will ever notice if the two sleeves are slightly different.

I think I was spurred on because I’ve already chosen my next project and can’t wait to start!

Cooking:

Fellow blogger Abbey has been exploring one cookbook a month for a few months now. I have really enjoyed her posts about this and decided to give it a try. If nothing else it will force me to pick up and use each of my cookbooks!

I was having a very difficult time choosing the first cookbook so I chose based on which one had a recipe that used ground beef as I had some that desperately needed to be cooked up!

The Best or Clean Eating 2 has been on my shelf for about 8 years! Today I made the Spaghetti and Meatball Casserole. I had a few of the ingredients, but had to buy some so the recipe cost me $15 to make.

This recipe had a lot of steps to it, which I have to admit is not my favourite for a casserole, though it was neat to make my own pesto! I also had to alter the recipe to gluten free and dairy free. I found the pesto was good, but as it was really the only item with taste, the overall dish was bland and the meatballs didn’t stay together well:(

Looking through the book, I have made other recipes (my notes are the quotes) including:

Turkey Pasta Casserole

Very yummy! Needs salt and pepper. I didn’t put the almonds on top and used Daisy cheese.

Pumpkin and Coconut Soup

Made it with water instead of veggie broth. Very good and easy, but definitely needs salt, pepper and the yogurt in top.

Tex-Mex Morning Pizzas

Good, must toast the English muffins first!

Pear-Cheese Quesadilla

Yummy and super easy, quite sweet so definitely a breakfast food. Could use some sort of spice.

I have a few more recipes picked out to try. I have to admit I’ve chosen them based on what needs to be used in my cupboard🤣 but going by the comments so far and tonight’s meal- the recipes in this book are quite bland:(

Reading:

I’m still reading Playing For Keeps by Jill Shalvis, but am so close to done! I’ll just go alternate reading and knitting and see how much I get accomplished:)

Have fun!

Social Butterfly and Half a ✅

It was a much busier day than I had expected!

Exercise:

My day started earlier than expected with a plea from both my nephew and SIL to see if his wallet was in my car. Sure enough it was (when did he get old enough to have a wallet?!?!). He wanted it this morning as he was going out for lunch, so I decided to combine dropping that off with a run on the dykes. It was such a gorgeous morning out there and not very many people! I got just over 5km in:)

This evening I met up with Sarah for a short run through a park. It was just the right amount to add some mileage and yet not to me in:). I need all the mileage I can get as I’d like to get up to 300km by April 1st so I’m back on track!

Shopping:

I had going downtown and having Umaluma ice cream on my spring bucket list and thought I would combine that with having a look at the Vegan Supply Store that is across the street. I even had my friend Kathryn lined up to come with me:).

The Vegan Supply Store was small, but neat to look through. They have an amazing selection of vegan cheese and I may have gone a little crazy. I didn’t buy any Black Sheep Vegan Cheese as I saw they were about $3-$5 more expensive than I can get them here at home.

I think I’m the future, I would just go when I need cheese for a cheese tray, and I may look into their online shopping:)

After spending time in there we walked across the street to check out the Umaluma, only to find it didn’t open until 5pm😢. The owner was coming out and offered to sell me a pint, but I knew it wouldn’t make it home. I did suggest he open a location further East!

Eating:

We instead ended up at Virtuous Pie. It is always good. I was planning to share a Stranger Wings pizza with Kathryn, but after ordering realized it wasn’t automatically gf. As it had already gone into the oven, I had to order another pizza and so got the chorizo and artichoke pizza. It was good, but not quite as amazing as Stranger Wings.

I brought most of it home as I was full after two slices and then took some to my friend Sarah for her dinner.

After a long skytrain ride home I walked in the door to a text inviting me for Happy Hour at my local Earls with Michelle and her boyfriend who is here from Amsterdam. I couldn’t resist so headed over there to enjoy some water and garlic fries with them before my run. I love hanging out with these – their relationship so so great!!! I’m thinking I’ll try to catch up with them tomorrow for Games Night too.

Reading:

I’ve been home reading for the rest of the night and think I’m heading to bed now!

Have fun!

Spend Time With Gus✅

It was so lovely this morning to lay in bed reading for a while!

House:

I picked up my mom and we wanted to stop at a furniture store, but couldn’t get there, so we went to my place and she helped me tackle a couple of cupboards in my kitchen. I am so loving having organization in my life!!! I’m pretty good at staying tidy and organized if an item has a home, but as soon as it doesn’t, I’m a wreck:(

Family Time:

I had planned to hit a new restaurant for lunch today, but the organizing took longer than expected, so we went directly to pick up my nephew. He had texted me the other day and asked if we could go for ice cream😍Awww! I had absolutely no hesitation in agreeing and we even got Nanny B to come along:) We went to Matteo’s Gelato which definitely has the most dairy free options in my neighborhood. It didn’t have quite as many as it will during the summer, but I still had choice:). I picked mango and coconut and wasn’t disappointed!

Afterwards I dragged G along to look at two furniture stores, but I still didn’t find a couch:(

Exercise:

I finally had to admit midafternoon that I wouldn’t be doing my 70 minute mission all in one run today:(. I just don’t have the energy or the lung capacity for it. I did however go out and get 35 minutes done and I’ll do another 35 minutes tomorrow. I’m hoping I can get some longer runs in soon though so I can get my mileage up for my yearly challenge! I didn’t push myself on tonight’s run and was hampered by having to dodge and weave around the crazy busy park! I was still happy to see I was under a 7 minute km:)

Reading:

I have to admit I’ve spent most of the evening laying on my couch in the sunshine reading:) it’s been lovely and may have been interrupted by a short nap😀

I finished One Perfect Kiss by Jaci Burton. This is the latest book in the Hope Series and I’ve read every single one of them! I love this series because of the friend group featured in it. I want to be part of that group as they seem to have so much fun!!! This is a cute, fluffy fun read:)

Well I’m going to go start my next book or maybe work on my sleeve.

Have fun!

AJ

Go Shopping✅

Sorry about yesterday- I fell asleep at 7:30pm. I figure I must have been fighting the slight cold i came down with today.

Exercise:

I hadn’t set an alarm last night, but my nephew’s text woke me up this morning so I figured I might as well go for a run. I only made just over 4km very slowly, but it was at least something. I finished my Squad Runner mission up with a walk in the sunshine this afternoon.

I also got my 100 crunches, 200 squats and a workout called butt blaster done this evening. It had donkey kicks, fire hydrants and one legged Bridges in it. I’m sure my glutes will be talking tomorrow!

Shopping:

I met my friend Lyndsay at Starbucks this morning and then we headed off to the outlets at the airport. I was supposed to be shopping for new Spring clothes, but I only bought more workout gear🤣

I found two pairs of my ASICS Trail shoes at the outlet🎊🎉. I figured it was the end of the last season of them before they were discontinued, so I bought both.

I also found a new running jacket and vest:). Sometimes it helps to be an uncommon size!

I laugh because I spent most of the day thinking the prices were still too expensive, but I guess I have no problem spending big money on workout gear🤣

It was nice to spend the day wandering around the stores and Lyndsay found lots of interesting things too.

Eating:

We then met up with our friend Corianne and Lyndsay’s son for lunch at Brown’s Social House. I was starving by this time! I had the potato crusted cod with the cowboy salad.

It was very yummy though I inhaled it so fast I could barely taste it! This was the first time I had been to Browns where the music and crowd were quiet enough to actually enjoy yourself! It was great!

Reading:

I have spent most of the evening relaxing on my couch with my book. I finished Good Luck With That by Kristan Higgins. When I started the book I was having difficulty keeping the characters straight and with the emphasis on obesity. However once again, Kristan Higgins won me over! The story was realistic, not perfect, but you were rooting for the characters. I loved the message too- you have to learn to love yourself! Definitely worth a read in the end!

Well, that’s it for me!

Have fun!

AJ

Clean Closet✅

It was a lovely day 2 of my holidays and I accomplished something:)

Exercise:

I met up with Brenda and James for my usual Sunday run. They were both walking for various reasons, but I managed to get 4.75km in. I am definitely slower in the morning than I am on my afternoon runs, though I think it might be the lack of fuel- a spoonful of peanut butter as I go out the door isn’t the best, but I’m not willing to give up sleep!

I am right on track for my mileage for this month, though I am still hoping to make up some mileage for February too.

I also did an L workout this evening called Count it Out. I had to do 100 skips, then 90,80,70,60, and 50. Then:

3 sets of:

10 step up each leg, 10 sumo squats, 10 plank hip dips each side

3 sets of 30/20/10 of:

Squats, alternating reverse lunge, bicycle crunches

3 sets of:

20 Spider-Man crunches, 20 flutter crunches, 1 minute plank

I hadn’t realized I did very little exercise last week so that will need to change this week!

House:

I finished my sweater/ linen closet and managed to get rid of 22 sweaters! I always have a difficult time getting rid of sweaters because I’m always cold! My mom has some space bags and they really helped!

I also got my house changed from the cranberry accents I use in the Fall/Winter to the teal I use in Spring/ Summer. With three sunshine the last couple of days, it is actually feeling like Spring:)

Shopping:

I dragged my mom along for some shopping this afternoon. I’ve been hankering to sew for a while and realized I’d like to make my close friend a small quilt for her two boys. I’m hoping for something bird themed as both her and husband have doctorates in biology in the area of birds. Unfortunately I haven’t seen anything that inspired me yet:(

We also hit Lee Vallley which is always fun! Please tell me I’m not the only one who has a Lee Valley list on their phone? I managed to only buy two things- a new carbiner for my keys and a heavy duty stapler for work. Of course, I added five other things to my list🤣

We also stopped at Bed, Bath and Beyond. This store drives me nuts as they never have prices on anything and whatever I am looking for is always on the opposite side of the store from where I start! I got myself a couple more space bags and a new non-stick rolling pin. I’ll do a review of the rolling pin once I use it. I am loving the space bags though as I have already gained two shelves that were full before!!!

Knitting:

I am still working on the yoked sweater. I have finished the 15″ of stockinette and now have to start the sleeves. I thought I got to start the fun stuff after the 15″ and have to admit I’ve spent the evening reading rather than working on sleeves, since I was disappointed to hear I had to do them first. Of course, if I had thought about it I would have realized I had the boring sleeves to do first!

Reading:

I had another book come through on Libby so am trying to finish the one I already had first. It’s called Good Luck With That by Kristan Higgins. I always love Kristan’s books and so wanted to read this one. It is about two friends fulfilling a teenage wishlist after the death of their other friend. I have to admit that so far it’s not my favourite book because I’m having difficulty keeping the characters straight. Plus the whole book is about being fat which is a tough subject for me.

Well, I’m off to do laundry (haha). I’m really just going to read on the couch while the machine does the laundry🤣

Have fun!

Bruce’s Market * New Restaurant ✅ Replace Plants✅

It was my first day of holiday and quite lovely!

Exercise:

I met up with Sarah and Kula for a run/ walk this morning. We ran a few Km then hiked up the coquitlam crunch and then ran back down. It was a little shorter than I was hoping for, but always nice to have company!

I also got my 200 squats and 100 crunches done today:)

Shopping:

I picked my mom up and she had the great idea of heading to Bruce’s Market which has been on my list for a year.

We first went looking for a new quilting store I had heard about from a colleague, called DinkyDoos. It was definitely difficult to find in the back of a new industrial park. The store is very large and bright and has some beautiful packages of fabrics. I did notice that a lot of their fabrics had a muted tone to it. I think they need to have a couple of people doing their material ordering so they get greater variety in their fabric selection.

I remember stopping at Bruce’s Market when I was a kid on the way to camping. I hadn’t been back in about thirty years!

It was not as large as I was expecting, but they sure pack a lot into this small space. It starts with a deli that has some delicious sounding sandwiches and wonderful looking desserts at it. If you have food allergies though, this is not the place for you! I was super hungry but didn’t find anything that would work for me:(

They had a cute gift section where I found a couple of gifts for Christmas:). There were lots of mugs, stationary, scarves, and kitchen gadgets.

There was a small section at the back of refrigerated items like milk, ice cream, cheese, etc. I did notice that items were at least a dollar or two more than what I usually pay. After seeing this, I didn’t pay much attention to the fresh veggie or canned goods items.

I’m glad I went and looked at the Market after having it in my list for so long, but I don’t think I need to go back.

Eating:

I always have lots of restaurants on my list and one was only a 13 minute drive from where I was, so we went for it. Humble Roots was definitely a little off the beaten path. It is a small cafe with a patio that would double the space. They serve breakfast all day and are open until 3pm. I ordered the Salmon Sammy along with fruit salad and my mom got The Canuck- a breakfast sandwich with turkey sausage and a side of hash browns.

My sandwich ended up coming with hash browns, but they did kindly bring me a side of fruit salad when I asked.

The sandwich was fine- a little soggy on the bottom, but the salmon was a nice large juicy piece and I liked the pesto on it. My mom’s sandwich was so big she couldn’t get her mouth around it. We both found the hash browns to be overdone so didn’t make much progress on them! The fruit salad was awesome- fresh and not from the can!

It was good enough, but not something I have to make the half hour drive for.

Gardening:

Since we were driving right by I decided to knock another item off my Spring Bucket List by stopping at the nursery. I asked the woman for a plant that likes bright sunlight and to be watered once a week. I thought overwatering had killed my mom’s Christmas cacti, but she made me realize maybe I was underwatering. Obviously I can’t progress to an animals yet as I can’t keep a plant alive🤣

I came home with two new Christmas cacti, but will wait a few weeks to see if my cacti come back to life.

House:

I kidnapped my mom to come home and help me tackle another closet in my place. I figured my sweater closet was a good place to go looking for the moths. I haven’t completed it yet, but have re-organized and gotten rid of a few things, so am feeling very productive!

Reading:

I finished the book, Hot Winter Nights by Jill Shalvis. This is a part of her Hertbreaker Bay series and I’ve read them all. I enjoyed this book as much as all the rest. This book is the story of Molly Malone and Lucas Knight. They work for Hunt Industries and Lucas is tasked by his partner and friend Joe (Molly’s brother) to protect Molly on her first investigation. I loved how drama-Free this book was and how the whole crowd was featured:). Definitely a great chick lit read, though I would read the series in order.

Blogging:

So I’ve just noticed that my stats are way down lately- anybody want to tell me what I’m doing wrong?

Well I’m going back to my chick flicks and knitting:)

Have fun!

It Comes to an End

It was a quiet day and tough not to be a little sad that my holiday is coming to an end.

Exercise:

My mission this week said I needed to run two hours between Monday and Wednesday. I figured I’d do an hour today, but when I headed out the door this morning, my brain just couldn’t come to terms with doing an hour! I ended up doing a half hour run this morning and another half hour this evening. In all I did 9km and was amazed that my evening run felt so much better than my morning run. I was a little slower, but only a few seconds per kilometer. I wonder why??

My view at the end of my evening run:)

One of the members of my team on Squad Runner left the team today without saying anything. I, of course, am worrying that she left because of me. Maybe I was too annoying on the group chat? It will all end now that I’m going back to work:). I really hope I’m not the reason!!!

With two runs today, I didn’t do any other exercise.

Knitting/ Crafting:

I got the next two rows of my parent’s afghan done today. It’s very odd as it has me adding 22 stitches after I’ve already done the border. I’ve made a lot of afghans and have never done that before! I had planned to do a lot more on their Afghan but spent the time finishing up a rug square. The square is done! Lol now I have to start working on this week’s.😏

Wardrobe:

A lot of today was spent getting my wardrobe app finished and it is! I am very happy that I will no longer need to work on that!

Household:

My cousin came and fixed his truck and my fireplace, so I am very happy😃

I guess I’m as ready as I’ll ever be for work tomorrow. Running clothes are laid out, work clothes are laid out and food is ready.

That’s it for me!

Have fun!

AJ

In Progress

I’ve been working away all day, but nothing got completed:(

Exercise:

I joined up with my old running buddies (I’m the only one still running- they all just walk) for a run out along the dykes. It’s the same run I did on Friday, but was gray and empty today. I managed just over 7km in my 47 minute run. This run I did with no walking breaks which is something I want to keep doing regularly so I don’t become reliant on walk breaks.

The tea after the run was the best part as it rained on me for the whole run and I had no hat:(

I got the schedule of missions for the week of Squad Runner and I have to admit I’m a little hesitant as it seems like a lot of running!! We’ll see how it goes, but I really don’t want to hurt myself!

I managed to sneak in a ladder workout this evening. I really don’t want to give up my workouts as I really think they make me a better runner and improve my fitness and physique. I did: 1 push-up, 2 v-ups, 3 dips, 4 bridges, 5 burpees, 6 toe reaches, 7 plank up-downs, 8 mountain climbers, 9 sit ups, 10 lunges, 11 squats, 12 jumping jacks. The tough thing about this workout is the accumulation of the exercises as you move up the ladder. I was a little sweaty by the end😂

Household:

I did my grocery shopping on the way home and still managed to forget to buy salsa and I didn’t buy tomatoes so I can’t even make my own😖

Crafts:

I had to go buy new knitting needles to start my parent’s afghan. It’s amazing I didn’t have the right size as I have mine, my mom’s, my grandma’s, and my great aunt and uncle’s knitting needles. Knitting needles are expensive, but I never balk at buying the as I know I’ll have them for life. I ended up getting the 9mm circular I needed and another 3.75mm circular as my temperature scarf is taking that one up for the year.

I got the afghan casted on and the first four rows of border done. Tomorrow I can start the fun stuff!

I got caught up on my temperature scarf. I’m tempted to use the calendar I found online and only do it on the last day of the month. We’ll see what happens with this next month.

I also hauled out my rug again and have been working away at it. Unfortunately, I haven’t finished the square yet:( My mom figured out that if I did one square a week or did 30 minutes a day during the school year and then 90 minutes in the summer, I could be done by the end of August. It would be lovely to have the project finished as it’s been hanging over my head for years. I am starting to feel a little overwhelmed by the amount of projects I have going and how they are taking over my living room:(. I’m really just a one project at s time person!!

Reading:

As I was working away on my rug I listened to the end of Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. It was a really great story and I can see why it is a classic. It’s an excellent story that holds your interest for every chapter. I think it would be an awesome read aloud for boys who are aged 8- 10:). I listened on LibriVox to version 2 and the voices were excellent.

Wardrobe:

I’ve also been working on redoing my Stylebook wardrobe app. I decided to stick with the same app and just make sure I have the backup turned on this time! I didn’t want to learn anything new, I’ve already paid for this one and it seems simple and to suit my needs. I used Brenda’s WiFi last night and dropped all the photos to myself so at least I don’t have to go through that step this time. I was hoping to be done today, but it looks like it will be tomorrow.

I’m off to do a bit more on my rug as I’d really like to “accomplish” something today!

Have fun!

AJ

Vacation Day 15

I can’t complain as I’ve had a lovely time off, but unfortunately I know it’s coming to an end:(

Exercise:

Normally I run Bert Flynn Park with Sarah and Kula on Saturday mornings, but earlier this week Sarah had suggested a local hike instead. Sounded good to me:). To Kula too!

We headed out and I had forgotten how hilly that hike was, or perhaps it was just my super heavy legs! About fifteen minutes in I decided that this would count as my run for the day! With having run 89km this month, I’m okay with that:) It was a gorgeous hike- about 45 minutes each way with a stop at the beach for Kula to go swimming. I love any hike that ends at water or with a water view!

Kula decided he hadn’t had enough exercise doing the trail four times and swimming, so he decided to dig too. I only captured the last few seconds.

Error
This video doesn’t exist

We need to put this digger to better use than excavating the beach 😂

Household:

My mom came to give me a hand with a couple of chores such as cleaning my gas fireplace and redoing my filing system. It’s just nice to have company while you tackle these mundane tasks. It has been a great feeling to get so many things done off my list during my holiday, though there are still plenty there. Maybe I’ll get to the sewing tomorrow:)

Shopping:

We hit Lee Valley as the treat for getting the mundane stuff done. I love Lee Valley as they have so many awesome items and some I just can’t imagine needing! I absolutely adore my measuring cups and spoons from there and my compost pail!!!! Last summer I had made a wish list for the store that I carry in my wallet and I’m just slowly picking away at it. I got some new magnetic reflectors to wear while I’m running and some new pastry guides. I should now have perfect thickness on all baked goods🤣. This means I get to bake to try them out, right?!

Knitting:

I got lucky and had a second knit night with Brenda tonight and managed to finish my March sweater with three hours to spare🤣. I know I’ve been asked for a photo, but it will have to wait until tomorrow when someone is around to take it as I’m seriously awful at selfies.

Now I get the fun of deciding what to do next, though I think it’s really been decided for me already! I need to work on my rug regularly so it gets finished- I’m thinking I might use Sundays for that and I need to get my parent’s boat Afghan done before they leave town again, which with them, could be tomorrow🤣

I’m off to bed! I want to be bright eyed and bushy tailed for tomorrow:)

Have fun!

AJ

Topsy Turvy Day

It seemed a little weird to not get up and run right away today!

Cooking:

Last night I had put apple pie oatmeal into my crockpot and used a timer to have it turn on around 2am. I still got up to burnt oatmeal. I think it’s the recipe and I keep forgetting which recipe I’ve done and keep using it:( If anyone has a good crockpot oatmeal recipe, I’d love to hear it!

Knitting:

I got my first sleeve finished and reattached this morning and was super happy with how it looks now. I think that if I get the second sleeve done, this will actually be a sweater I wear a lot:). Unfortunately my hand is a little sore from all the knitting😂

Purging:

I went through this morning and gathered up 6 bags of clothing and books for donation. It felt super great to get rid of some stuff and I know I have more that can still go! I was selling my stuff on a Facebook group but my clothing doesn’t seem to go well. I’m guessing because of its size😂

I was really ticked when I got to the store and they only gave me four stamps for my six bags. They are being given things to sell- you would think they could be generous with the stamps!! Then I saw the stamp card was only valid until March 31st. Grrr I don’t like companies that are out to get the customer any way they can. I’m going to have to look for somewhere else to shop!

Shopping:

My mom and I tackled the rest of the store that I started earlier in the week. It took me about two hours and yet again I came home with a ton of workout gear. At least I got about five things that weren’t:).

Eating:

We were both hungry by the time the marathon shopping trip was over so we stopped at the local pub for lunch. This is one of my favorite places to go because they have gluten free/ dairy free fish and chips. My mom and I split a two piece order and get very kindly brought it on two plates for us:) It was still way too much food for me!

Exercise:

We stopped in at my place and then were off again. I had planned on doing a ten kilometer run on Sunday for the Squad Runner mission but it got changed and I had to do it today. I didn’t really want to run the same thing I had run yesterday so my mom volunteered to go for a walk on the dyke so I could go do my run out there. It turned out to be super busy out there so I suppose I could have gone by myself. It was a beautiful day for some exercise though so I won’t feel bad about dragging my mom out🤣

Of course I somehow managed to screw up Runkeeper so it wasn’t doing my four and one intervals, so I changed it and every time the announcement came on for another kilometer I walked while counting to 60 in my head. I had to go a lot further than I expected before 5km came along, but it was a nice day for a run, except for the headwind going both ways!

Lately, I had been thinking that maybe I could handle a half marathon but after how tired I was today after 10km, I’ve changed my mind. I’ll need to work on that longer!

Beauty:

I went and got my eyelashes and eyebrows dyed this afternoon. This is a necessity when you’re as blond as me. I often wonder why I didn’t start doing this much younger?!

I also had a lovely nap this afternoon so now I’m going to spend some time knitting my second sleeve.

Have fun!
