Wow these three weeks are going fast! Which isn’t surprising since somehow we are already into March!

I have not been crafting as much as usual as I just finished writing my second term reports on Friday. There’s three weeks of my life I’ll never get back:(

But I’m not here to complain- I’m here to show you my stitching progress.

I have finished a Mill Hill kit- Marshmallow Snowman.

This is done almost exactly to pattern, except I did not put the gold beads all around the tree. I do find that Mill Hill does too many beads for me so I have been trying to actually think about where I would want beads. I’ll get better as I do more:)

Since I finished this, I have started another small project. This is Back of the Truck Flowers by Daily Cross Stitch. My plan is to stitch it and then turn it into a wedding sampler for a friend and colleague. She loves flowers and he loves vintage trucks so it seemed perfect.

This is where I am so far. I am having to do this on a piece of 14 count Aida I had in my stash in order to get it to be a decent size. I really wanted to do it on a piece of my sky coloured evenweave, but it would have been about 2” by 3”- definitely not right for a wedding announcement!

I have months to get it done so I’m just lowly plugging away in it.

Make sure you check out everyone else’s progress in this group. There are some truly inspiring projects!
