Sorry for no post last night. Yesterday was a good day- my students did great at the Remembrance Day assembly and I got a workout in, and had a night of negative knitting at Knit Night.

I didn’t manage to sleep in this morning, but I spent the time laying in bed reading my latest NetGalley book, All Fired Up by Lori Foster. I really enjoyed this book as Lori does an amazing job of balancing romance and suspense. The amazing family cast helped too:). This book was a great end to her Road To Love series.

I did finally drag my butt out the door for a run to and around the park. I got 4.5km in, but there was nothing super exciting about it.

I grabbed my mom and did all my errands. I just realized that I save all my errands for when my mom is in town and can keep me company. She or her hair cut and I wandered superstore and bought beet hummus, cashew dip, an oatmeal raisin cookie to try and Floradix iron supplement to try. Hopefully some of these things will be good!

We also hit Pomme, Costco, and the mall and I spent way too much money, but thankfully, I only do this when my mom is in town.

At one point my mom decided she had had enough and wanted to go home. I got a small Hallmark fix with watching Mingle All the Way which was super cute and Dashing Through the Snow was okay, but slightly confusing.

After my dad arrived home and took the tv over, I went home to get a couple of pattern repeats done on the shawl I’m making. This shawl has so many errors in it that I’ll just have to pray it doesn’t fall apart or look weird!

Tomorrow is going to be long so I’m going to bed.

Have fun!
